The idea of innocent unless proven guilty and the right to a trial by jury is one of the most conservative principles in our law and history. Every year, I represent many clients accused of crimes. Some of these cases are resolved through a plea negotiation, a deferred prosecution or dismissal, while others are resolved by a trial before a judge or jury. I represent clients on misdemeanors and felonies. How much will this cost? - My fee for representation varies depending on the case. For most misdemeanors in District Court my fees range between $350.00 and $500.00. However if you have multiple charges, or an assault on a female charge, the fee can be higher. For matters in Superior Court, my minimum is $1500.00. This fee increases depending on the seriousness of the offense, the number of charges, and the overall time involved in the case.
